Balham is fast becoming a hub of delightful & delicious, independently owned eateries. Cosy cafes & romantic restaurants line the pavements of the, locally known, ‘Balhamas’. Megan’s is voted one of the best restaurants in Balham.

Our restaurant is one of these delicious independents, with beautiful interiors, & also a relaxed all day dining vibe. We are happy for you to stop in for a coffee, laze for a leisurely midweek wine-y lunch,  dine with your lover for a romantic evening meal, or even sit on your laptop all day to enjoy your work from homing in a more spacious & more appealing (than your dining room table) venue.

We are open for brunch, lunch & also dinner all day every day, with bottomless brunch on the weekend. Our menu is loosely Mediterranean, with influences from sunny places.

As mentioned, our menu is loosely Mediterranean. Our Executive Head Chef, Sercan, is from Turkey… Hence the delicious influence.

For brunch we offer brunch classics like our English-y fry up (we have added a slight twist to this) & the hot honey, avo toast. Or we have our Turkish eggs or famous Shakshouka Baked Eggs on the menu, with the option to add sucuk Turkish chorizo or halloumi, which is one of our more Turkish dishes (We were making Shakshouka long before it was cool).

 We also have our ‘from the kitchen’ menu, featuring some of our Turkish twists, like our famous flatbread open kebabs.

In to the evening, the ‘from the kitchen’ menu expands to welcome some more delicious grilled meats, shakshouka kebabs, mezze sharing plates & many many delicious sharing starters & sides.

Our small plates are great if you like picking!  You can choose from atrio of  harissa hummus, feta & avo dip, & labneh with the ultimate home-baked bread basket,  friend chicken with date BBQ sauce, tabbouleh salad, za’atar fries, our very garlicky garlic dip, blistered padron peppers & more…

A wonderful achievement for a little business like ours 🙂
